OVERVIEW OF THE K RING CONTACTLESS PAYMENT RING 

K Ring is a contactless payment ring. With K Ring, you can quickly pay for your purchases at any point of sale that accepts Mastercard® contactless payments. 

K Ring is available in the UK with a prepaid Mastercard credit account. However, it also works abroad at approximately 6million retail outlets with Mastercard contactless payment-enabled terminals. In the Netherlands, ABN AMRO bank offers its customers with contactless credit and debit payments with K Ring.

HOW DOES K RING WORK?

Contactless payment makes paying small purchases easy. You don’t have to carry your smartphone, enter a PIN code, provide a signature, or you don’t have to remember your bank account number. With a contactless payment Smart Ring such as K Ring, you can simply touch the point of sale terminal at a shop with your Smart Ring. 

Technically, the payment transaction is enabled by the secure NFC wireless short-range connection when the Smart Ring is placed within 4 cm of reach from the point of sale terminal.

K Ring doesn’t have to be “paired” with a smartphone to make payments. It is a passive NFC-based device, which means that you don’t have to charge the battery – K Ring simply doesn’t have one! 

K Ring is a waterproof Smart Ring device, made of hard, scratch-resistant Zirconia ceramic. 

K RING FOR ABN AMRO CUSTOMERS IN THE NETHERLANDS

ABN AMRO bank offers contactless payment with K Ring for its customers in the Netherlands. K Ring is linked with ABN AMRO’s personal bank card, and it provides domestic contactless payment up to €25 without a PIN. Purchases above €25, can be paid with the PIN code entered on the point of sale terminal. The users can use the ABN AMRO’s K Ring at over 6 million retail shops globally.
